The purpose of this Scoping Toolkit is to:

- ensure that the project includes all the work required to complete the project successfully
- ensure the boundaries of a project are clearly defined
- ensure all stakeholders are aware as to what is in scope and out of scope
- ensure that the scope of the project is agreed and approved
- define a framework that allows the ongoing management of scope throughout the project life cycle.
